Tour Description: The headless horsemen can be seen galloping thru the streets as you stand next to the hanging tree. Beware Washington Square park is actually a cemetery. It was a potters field after the civil war and bodies are still buried right beneath the ground. Edgar Allen Poe wrote the famous tail The Raven right down the street from the park. This is the most haunted destination in NYC. Come see if you believe in ghosts.
Meeting Point: 85 West Third Street in Manhattan, between Thompson and Sullivan Streets. You will see a plaque honoring Poe on the building facade.
